Art Gallery
The Hatchery Art Gallery in St. Helena, owned by Janet Hawke, occupies a hundred year-old native stone building on Railroad Avenue. The Hatchery presents monthly exhibits of local and Bay Area artists.
Just a year ago Guilia Buchanan, St. Helena artist, completed a portrait of Miss Ivy Loeber, Napa county historian, of that city. The picture of Miss Loeber will eventually hang in the Napa County Historical Museum. This museum is to be located in the Sam Brannan Racing Stable, more recently the Napa Valley Cooperative Winery on Stevenson Street, Calistoga. It was purchased by Walter Fox and John Lamprecht as the museum's headquarters."
